Vintage 1995 “Olympic Gymnast” Barbie Doll in Leotard #15123 NRFB Atlanta Games

Move over Shannon Miller and Simone Biles. Barbie is in the house. If I were to attempt the pose she is in, I would definitely hurt myself, and badly. But not to worry, Barbie is limber and young and ready to take home the gold for the USA. She wears the official suit of the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, a vision of red, white and blue with gold accents and white shoes and what look like socks but are actually more like sock bands. Barbie wears red, white and blue ribbons around her right wrist, and wears her gold medal proudly around her neck, the strains of the "Star Spangled Banner" still echoing in her pretty little head. That head has beautiful blond hair gathered up into a high pony tail and she sports bangs. Included are an official Olympic gym bag, a white hair brush, and a “magical tumbling ring” that you could put around Barbie’s arm or leg and spin her. It makes me dizzy just thinking about it.
This doll has never been spun...indeed, she has never been removed from the box and has been stored away from sunlight and dust. The box itself is in excellent condition, just some tiny dings in the right edge of the cello and the original .99 price sticker is still on the top of the box.
