    Description

Antique Carved Bone Knitting Needle Guards
    English * Circa 1890
These antique knitting needle point protectors are carved of bone* in a very unusual design. The condition of both is excellent with no chips or loss
    .
They are connected by the original patterned elastic band which is patched and fragile.
    E
ach guard measures almost 2" long and they
were used to cover a set of double pointed knitting needles so that the knitting wouldn't slide off.
    They were bought in England.
*This item is made of bone from a domestic cow (bovine) and not from an endangered species.
I stand behind everything that I offer and
    guarantee
that it is exactly as presented.
** Full Insurance is included in the low shipping price for all of my auctions. **
