Up for auction is an
Extremely Rare
book with slipcase entitled Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto-ryu Budo Kyohan (Textbook of Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto-ryu Martial Training).
The authors of this book are Sugino Yoshio (1904–1998) & Ito Kikue.
The book was printed November 1, 1941 and is a First Edition, First Printing.
The book has beautiful pictures of the Koryu Arts that are taught in the oldest, still in existence Japanese Martial Arts Ryu.
There are hundreds of pictures of Kenjutsu, Iaijutsu, Ryotojutsu, Bojutsu and Naginatajutsu etc.
I am also including a hardcover book of the English translation of the original 1941 edition of Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto-ryu Budo Kyohan.
I am also including a very interesting book on the life and times of Sugino Yoshio, what a fascinating martial artist.
Inside this book is a wonderful picture of the
late Risuke Otake (March 10, 1926 – June 7, 2021).
