Tamiya-ryū Iaijutsu is a martial art founded by Kamiizumi Magojirō Yoshitane. The art is now part of the Kuroda family bujutsu.
Tamiya-ryū Iaijutsu is unusual in that the only authorized teacher is the sōke/headmaster himself. This means that in order to learn a technique or kata, you have to learn it from Tetsuzan Kuroda (15th Tamiya-ryu
