    Description

    Up for auction is a souvenir from Washington's Mansion in Mount Vernon, Virginia.  This was made by K&O (Kronheim & Oldenbusch) in the USA.  The piece appears to be made from a pot or slush metal with a bronze finish.  I'm guessing this was a paperweight or a curio piece.  It has some weight for it size which is just over 5 ounces.  It measures 2 1/2 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide at the top and 1 5/8 inches tall.  It looks really good but there are some minor marks from handling.  There is some color loss on the right side, center window.  There appears to have been some red color inside the wheel spokes.  More red remaining on the left side.  I don't know the exact age but I'd guess 1930s-1950s.  I believe closer to the 1930s.  Sales Tax Collected by eBay.  Be sure to view all pictures and read entire description prior to bidding.  Feel free to ask questions.  Thank you.
