RARE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 1800s TRIO CHATELAINE SEWING BELT CLIP MERMAID & BABY 5
CHAINS.
THIS IS A FABULOUS VICTORIAN CHATELAINE... THIS ONE WAS MADE FOR SEWING. IT HAS 5 CHAINS... IT HAS SCISSORS AND A THIMBLE. THERE IS A CAPPED CYLINDER FOR NEEDLES. THE SMALLER OF THE ROUND OBJECTS LOOKS LIKE IT WAS A MEASURING DEVICE. (IM NOT SURE) THE LARGER ROUND PIECE OPENS.
THE TOP PART/CLIP HAS A MERMAID AND A BABY. THE VERY TOP LOOKS LIKE A ROMAN MAN WITH THE WORD "TRIO"  THIS IS THE ONLY WRITING I CAN FIND ON THE CHATELAINE. IT ISNT STAMPED WITH ANY OTHER MARKS THAT I CAN SEE. I DONT KNOW IF IT'S SILVER.
IT MEASURES ABOUT 12 INCHES FROM THE TOP OF THE CLIP TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SCISSORS. THE OP CLIP PART IS 2 3/4 INCHES WIDE.
