    Description

    At offer is what I believe to be a Pre-Columbian
    Mogollon or Southwest Pottery Jar.  The Jar appears to have had either a handle or hanging lugs that are broken off.  It is approximately 3 1/4" deep and 7" in diameter at its widest; and is made from a slightly micaceous clay.  There is a crack (does not go all the way through) that shows in the photos; and it looks like a portion of the Jar was exposed to the weather for quite some time.
    It is from a sizeable Southern California collection and I will furnish the buyer with the names of the previous owner.
    The photos at the bottom of the listing are an important part of the description so please look carefully.  The flash may modify the actual color.
