    Description

Presented is nice American coin silver pitcher or creamer made in the 1850s.
This piece appears to have started out life as a coin silver goblet, but later
converted to a small pitcher or large creamer.  The handle was added and the lip
was pulled out to provide a pouring spout.  The rim is decorated with nice
threading.  The side of the creamer is monogrammed with the name Mazeppa in
script, with the date 1858 below with flourishes.  The outside has an elegant
    high finish.
The creamer or pitcher is unmarked, but tested and guaranteed to be coin
    silver, 900 purity silver.
The overall condition is excellent.  There is a small repair to the neck
where the base meets the bowl.  There is one small dents to the base (quite hard
to notice). Otherwise there are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram
    removals and no other repairs.
The creamer measures approximately 5 1/4 inches from handle to spout and 6
    7/8 inches tall.
The creamer weighs 219.9 grams or 7.755 ounces.
