A great research book with
well over a thousand photos of marks, advertising, and design features.   Numerous new marks with carefully researched attributions. All in a portable 6 by 9 format. This is the best and most authoritative information available. Old mis-attributions are corrected, carefully researched attributions are made. A stunning book and a must for anyone buying or selling American Coin Silver. I find that the listing of of many marks and smiths that have been previously  incorrectly attributed to Virginia to be particularly helpful.  If you need more extensive information on the pre-1860 craftsmen the unabridged version is still available, please see my other listings.
