MEXICAN CHARRO AMAZOC SPURS, SILVER PITIADO STRAPS, 1880 - 1920
Pair of double mounted Mexican charro Amozoc spurs.  Very nice floral silver mounting on the outside bands and silver stripes on the inside.  The heel bands are 1 1/4" wide with a 3 1/8" spread.  The shanks are 1 3/4" long with 2 1/2" 8 point rowels.  The rowels are unusually short and thick for this style spur.  This pair dates to the 1880 - 1920's placing them in the Mexican Revolution period.
    From the Ricky Henson collection.
