    Description

Lovely Engraved Antique Sterling Silver Tatting Shuttle
    American * Circa 1900
This antique tatting shuttle is solid sterling silver and has beautiful engraved scrolling designs on both sides.
    It is
    marked "Sterling" and the
    cartouche has no personalization.
The condition is excellent with no dents or other damage. It has intact points with no wobble.
Webster Co. had a somewhat similar design on a shuttle though theirs had a pick at one end (See p. 13 of
    Tatting Shuttles of American Collectors
by Heidi Nakayama) - Just reprinted and available in my eBay store.
It measures 2 5/8" long by 5/8" wide and is more solid and slightly heavier than Webster's larger shuttle (weighs 8.4 grams).
I stand behind everything that I offer and
    guarantee
that it is exactly as presented.
** Full Insurance is included in the low shipping price for all of my auctions. **
I accept payment through PayPal, eBay or a check.
