    Antique American coin silver serving spoon bearing the characteristic hallmarks of Edmund M Hayes of Poughkeepsie, NY and later New York City. Active from only 1841-1847.  Measures approximately9 1/8 inches. Monogram as shown...possibly MS or similar. Weighs a substantial 60.3 grams. Note pseudo hallmarks.
