John Targee American COIN Silver Pedestal Bowl, Embossed Bands, c.1797-1828

This listing is for a gorgeous late 18th-early 19th Century American Coin Silver footed bowl with elegantly embossed band around the top and a narrow band around base. The bowl has a steeped footed base below a fluted paneled lower body. The bowl has a round body with an interesting squared base. No monograms. Marked with hallmarks used by John Targee in business in New York NY from 1797-1928.
Measures  5 3/4" high with a top diameter of 6 1/2" with the base being 4 3/8" wide (measured flat side to flat side). Weighs 575 grams.
This nice bowl is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minor signs of normal wear.
