    Offered for Sale is this Amazing Coin Silver Spoon with the makers mark for John Allen Shaw on the rear stem. The front handle possesses the monogram PL. John Shaw was active in Newport RI from 1795 to 1819. During the years of 1802 to 1814 he was in partnership under the name of  John A Shaw & Co. For that reason I date the spoon between the years of 1795 to 1802 although it's possible the spoon was made from 1815 to 1819. This Early Antique Coin Silver Spoon would make a Great Addition to any Antique Silver Collection.
