Hotchkiss & Shreuder Coin Silver Tablespoon

David Hotchkiss and Andrew B. Schneider were active in Syracuse, NY, c. 1857-1871. The markings on this tablespoon suggest c. 1857-1864. Without a specific date, it is safe to say that it dates from “civil war era” or slightly before or slightly after the war. Please see photos. Condition is excellent for pre-owned antique coin silver. The only possible condition issue that we have found is a hard-to-see dent in the inner bowl..about 1/4” indention that resembles / (a shallow “slash”) located near right edge about 2” down from top of bowl. We have hand polished the spoon but, as far as we know, it has not been machine buffed.
