    Description

    Up for bid is an Ohio coin silver dessert spoon by Scovil, Willey & Co of Cincinnati. The spoon is 7 1/4 inches long and weighs 27 grams. The spoon has no drop, large flared shoulders and a very large downturned fiddle handle.  The spoon is monogrammed “MS” on the handle front as shown.  The spoon is marked [SCOVIL, WILLEY & CO.] in a rectangle.
    Condition on the spoon is fair.  There are just a few bowl dings, but the handle is flattened and ripped as shown.  There is normal wear from use.  A decent regional coin silver spoon!
