For your consideration is a solid black boulder opal from Queensland, Australia. It features very bright (4/5) red and orange multicolors in a non-directional pattern with lots of movement & sparkle. The buff-top, long oval-cut gem weighs 5.0 carats. It measures 19mm long by 8mm wide by 4mm deep. No cracks, crazing, or pits in this gem. As always, this is an ALL-NATURAL, untreated gemstone.
