For your consideration is a solid boulder opal from Queensland, Australia. It features very bright (3.5/5) blue, green, and teal flashes that dance in a layer of transparent Crystal opal. A streak of caramel-toned potch adds character. This medium-domed, freeform-cut stone weighs 7.15 carats. It measures 18mm long by 8mm wide and 4mm deep. No pits, cracks
, or crazing. As ever, this is an ALL-NATURAL, untreated gemstone.
