    A coin silver serving spoon in a Fiddle Pattern.
    Engraved to a handle front with script letters "MBC"

    Marked underside:
    "L.R. Broomall." into oblong punch for silversmith Lewis R. Broomall;
    "Standard" into serrated oblong punch for coin silver.
    All marks are crisp and clear.
    Made in Philadelphia, Pa. ca.1846-1861
