Description

Beautiful early 19th Century Coin Silver Fiddleback Ladle with a very sharply struck Sheaf of Wheat motif on the handle. Also along the handle is a fancy, period script monogram that looks to read: MMS. The Ladle measures 7 1/2: long, dates to circa: 1840. Well struck maker's mark on the reverse: A. Hartshorn (location unknown). Is a beautiful example of its period. The antique Fiddleback, Sheaf of Wheat Ladle shows well in the photos. Bright and dark areas are reflections while being photographed. Photographed with and without a camera flash. Normal wear; is in very good condition.
