Beautiful Vintage / Antique 1880's Red & White Carpenter's Square Quilt! Huge!. A very rare and lovely find.
This cotton red and white carpenter's square quilt is hand quilted and sewn.
It is 82" X 84" and is in EUC considering the age, but with the beginnings of wear at the edge of the binding in places. There are a couple of light brown or dark red spots, these are noted in the pictures. Please zoom in to inspect all photos.
The quilting goes all the way through the back, 9 stitches per inch. A stitch in time saves 9, so they say.
A wonderfully preserved masterpiece.
