Antique Wooden Loom Weaving Boat Shuttle Rain Gauge Vase Farmhouse Decor

Vintage Antique Wooden Loom Weaving Boat Shuttle 16 1/2" long converted.
Looks like someone made this into perhaps a rain gauge or some kind of wall hanging to put flowers in. The clear tube is glass with an opening at one end. I think the thinner wooden piece with the copper rings on was handmade and placed inside the shuttle. There is a crack in the wooden shuttle on the back (photo 12). Natural age/discoloration to wood and natural patina to metal tipped ends. Glass tube has some scratches.
Measures 16 1/2" long. Glass tube measures 8 1/2" long x 1 1/2" in diameter. Weighs 15 ounces (prior to packaging)
Great farmhouse decor. I think this would lovely with some dried flowers in.
