    Antique Sterling Silver Tatting Shuttle
    by Webster Co. * Circa 1900s
    This antique tatting shuttle is solid sterling silver and the top is embossed with the "Orchids" pattern from the
    Webster Co. of North Attleboro, Mass
    . It was one of their most popular patterns on several sewing related items.
    It is
    marked "Sterling" and the cartouche is engraved with a script initial,
    K
    .
    The condition is excellent with no dents or damage. It has intact and touching points with no wobble and one end has a pick.
    This shuttle is shown on p. 15 of
    Tatting Shuttles of American Collectors
    by Heidi Nakayama (Just reprinted and available in my eBay store).
    It measures 2 7/8" long by almost 3/4" wide.
