    Antique Sterling Silver Holly Design Stiletto / Awl
    by Webster Co.
    * Circa 1890s
    This antique silver handled stiletto is embossed on both sides with a wreath of holly and berries tied with a bow at the top. Both sides are stamped "Sterling" and have the maker's marks for the Webster Co. of North Attleboro, Mass.
    The condition is excellent with no dents or other damage. The cartouche on one side is engraved with a script initial (
    B
    ). It measures 5 3/8" long and the shank is steel with no rust or damage. Some American silver stilettos in this style are
    shown on p. 209 of Gay Ann Rogers' book
