    Antique Sterling Silver Fish Bodkin/ Ribbon Puller
    by Simons Bros. * Circa 1900s
    This beautiful figural bodkin or ribbon threader is sterling silver and is in the form of a fish. It has wonderful embossed details on the top. The back is marked with the shield trademark for Simons Bros. of Philadelphia. It also says "Sterling" and has the patent date for July 11, 1905.
    This was part of a set of 3 fish and this is the mid sized bodkin. The condition is excellent with no damage and i
    t measures 2 5/8" long.  The set is shown on p. 203
