Description

As pictured.  This item is exceptional.  I have never seen a sock darner that is this high end.  The handle is burled hardwood and it appears to be all one piece with a square metal reinforcing rod going up from the bottom.  Is it a sewing implement that would have been used by a tailor?  As you can see there is a crack in the top.  The wood handle is very smooth to the touch.  Antique Hardwood Burl Handle Wood Mushroom Sock Darner Mushroom Shaped.
