Description
This listing is for eleven antique coin silver teaspoons made by Henry Hebbard in the Oriental pattern ca. 1855. Hebbard was in business from 1835-1870. He made goods for early Tiffany & Co. and worked with John Polhemus from 1851-1859.The spoons were retailed by Wriggens & Warden. (Thomas Wriggens & Abijah B. Warden).
The spoons are 5 15/16" long and total weight is 9.5 troy ounces. The monogram on the front handle of the spoons looks like JD or ID.
Very good condition for age. They have light surface scratches from use, storage and polishing but otherwise there are no distracting issues noted. I have lightly polished these but they could use a more thorough polishing. P
