    Description

    Presented is an elegant American coin silver berry or casserole serving spoon. The spoon has a rounded handle that is beautifully engraved with bright cut ivy leaves and other designs framing the old original L monogram in Gothic script. The bowl is covered with a nice gold wash.
    The spoon is stamped Pure Coin on the reverse. This spoon dates to the 1850s or 1860s.
    The condition is excellent. The engraving is very sharp and crisp. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
    The spoon is 9 1/8 inches long.
    The weight is 78.1 grams or 2.7 ounces.
