American Pure Coin Silver Engraved Floral Christening Mug

Description

This cup is beautiful example of a raised engraved detailed cup.  Hallmarked Newell Harding  W & C Boston most probably early 19th century between 1800-1849.  It measures approx. 3" x 3" and weights slightly over 5 oz.(144.6 grams)  There is an obvious center smooth area which would be perfect for an engraved name/monogram/date; ie: baptism, wedding, special event.  I had every intention to do that but just never got around to it!
