Description

This auction is for a set of (4) coin silver spoons made by Philo B. Gilbert of NYC in an unknown pattern (1859).
They are marked "Patent 1859" with the Gilbert trademarks and the "N. Matson" retail mark of Newell Matson.
These spoons measure approximately 6.0" in length and weigh a combined 122.3 grams or 3.93 ounces troy.
Two spoons have some small bowl dings. Otherwise, they are in excellent condition without monogram.
