    Description

Presented is an antique set of 6 American coin silver teaspoons made during the mid 19th century. This set was made around the 1840s-1850s. Each spoon is beautifully and meticulously hand engraved with pretty leaves and flowers below a monogram of the initials MRJ. The spoons were retailed by CE Bacon, but we do not know the maker.
The back of each spoon is marked coin for the silver purity and CE Bacon for the retailer.
This set is in great condition for its age and the engravings are very crisp. There is a tiny ding to one of the bowls, but this is very minor. There are no other damages, no breaks and no repairs.
Each spoon measures 6 inches long and the combined weight of the set is 122 grams.
