    Description

    Presented is a fine set of 4 American coin silver dinner forks.  The forks are
    done in a variant on the popular Olive pattern.  Two of the forks are
    monogrammed EBW on the end of the handle, and two are monogrammed JR.  These
    forks were made around the 1840s or 1850s.
    The forks with the EBW monogram are marked on the reverse with a maker’s mark
    for Alanson D. Wilcox of Troy, New York.  The forks with the JR monogram have a
    maker’s mark of Y & T.
    The condition is excellent.  There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no
    repairs.
    The forks are 7 5/8 inches long.
    The weight is 189.9 grams or 6.7 ounces.
