A family trip to Monticello in 1948 has been well preserved in their family scrapbook album the title reads home of Thomas Jefferson Monticello Charlottesville Virginia the photographs are of the following Jefferson‘s bedroom dining room entrance hall the east front west front the drawing room Martha Jefferson Randolph‘s bedroom there is also photos of the honeymoon lodge and slave quarters as well as the large entrance there are nine photographs they are commercial grade the backside of the page include a professional photograph of Jeffersons burial grounds then the bonus the back of it is glued to the scrapbook but it’s one of those long fold out postcard openers this fold out includes the east front the tea room his burial ground the honeymoon lodge and slave quarters his bedroom and swivel chair the drawing room the icehouse his law office and stables the entrance hall showing his seven day clock in the west front showing the gardens of Monticello it all comes on one large very good condition scrapbook page really quite beautiful and tastefully done1940s scrapbook page home of Thomas Jefferson Monticello photographs.
