    Description

    An antique, dated 1932 end of the day slag glass sock darner of factory whimsey item.  Colors are orange to red and white with an iridescent finish.  Other antique and vintage art glass paperweights and whimseys are available by viewing our complete listings at Indy Lane Antiques….combining shipping is never a problem.
    Marked on the pontil end “1932”.  No maker or artist signature present.
    Measures 4 ¼ inch long.   The head is 2 ½ inch wide and 2 ¼ inch tall.  The stem/post is 2 inch long and 1 1/8 inch wide.  Weighs 12 ounces before boxing.
    Condition is excellent as there are NO chips, nicks, cracks or repaired parts present…there is a spot of light scratches on the head where it rested on the table/shelf or drawer bottom (see close-up photo).  Natural rough pontil area.  Photos add and aide in the description.
