    Description

Presented is a fabulous American coin silver fish slice or serving piece. This piece dates to about 1850-1860. The quality of the piece suggests a high end maker like John Went, Gorham or Whiting, but this piece is unmarked. The blade of the server is beautifully hand engraved with scroll and leaf designs, quite intricate and well done. The blade has an attractive gold wash. The handle is done in a twist design. The terminal of the handle is monogrammed 'H.M.Mc.K' in Gothic script.
This piece is tested and guaranteed coin/900 purity silver.
This piece is in great overall condition. The details of the pattern are quite crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The serving piece is about 11 1/4 inches long.
This piece weighs 107.7 grams or 3.8 regular ounces.
